This month, we are going to feature a restaurant that seems to slip under the radar for most, but the food and atmosphere is terrific. If you have not visited Amata Thai Fusion this month, please add it to your “gotta eat there” list. Thai food is characterized by its use of noodles, fresh vegetables, and curry or other spices. Although the seasoning and spices are central to most of the dishes served here, you can choose items from the menu that have varying levels of heat, and all are delicious.
The interior of the restaurant is very modern in design with many elements of a fine restaurant but is not stuffy by any means. Seating is more than adequate and you can choose to sit at a table or the small bar.
We visited the restaurant for lunch yesterday and ordered the Pad See Ew, which is a stir fried flat noodle with egg and Chinese broccoli in a sweet soy sauce. WOW – what a delicious meal! The food tasted great and the presentation was very colorful and looked as good as it tasted.
Although we ordered at lunch time, the prices and portions are the same as the dinner menu, but for $8, our meal definitely compared with many other lunch items at comparable restaurants.
