Autumn Temperatures in the Lowcountry

How cold is “Cold” to you? At Beaufort Online, our staff has been living in Beaufort for most (if not all) of our lives. So when the temperature drops below 60, we tend to get out the coats. Between the months of November and March, It is usually easy to tell a visitor to our town from a local based on their clothing choice.

This comic was not created to make fun of anyone, but to show that living in the South tends to change your perspective on what “Cold” means. Visitors from the northern states or Canada often remark on the “unseasonably” warm temperatures throughout the fall and winter. Locals like us are grateful for the mild winters, but still get chilled when the temperature drops.
