What could YOU do with fifty dollars and some paintbrushes? For Beaufort resident LeeAnn Logan the answer was clear, start a small business…and that is exactly what she did. What started as a small hobbyist business run from her home quickly grew into something larger than she ever could have expected. The small business quickly consumed the entire home until it required a commercial space for operation. She now co-owns and operates Exclusively Yours, a custom gift and engraving shop with her husband, Justin Logan. Formerly located in Shell Point Plaza in Beaufort, South Carolina, their store has recently relocated to the Cherry Point Area on Argent Boulevard, just a 15-minute drive from their old location. From the original fifty dollars and old paintbrushes to the brand-new store, here’s their story.
Originally from small rural towns in central Illinois, LeeAnn and Justin found themselves calling Beaufort, South Carolina home when Justin’s active duty Marine Crops service stationed them at MCAS Beaufort. Due to Justin’s long and unusual work schedule at the Air Station, LeeAnn found herself with free time, an extra fifty dollars, and some old used paintbrushes. That’s when she decided to use what she had to fill her free time. She began hand painting inspirational and motivational signs she created from reclaimed wood and began selling them online. The signs quickly gained popularity and LeeAnn found herself looking for new ways to use her artistic abilities to create new and different products.
The business quickly demanded a commercial space to operate after LeeAnn purchased laser engraving equipment to keep up with the high demand for her products. Aside from meeting the high demands of higher sales, LeeAnn also started using the laser to produce and offer countless new products and services. The commercial space at Shell Point Plaza in Beaufort is where the store was originally opened. There, Exclusively Yours had much success offering a wide variety of custom made plaques and awards, custom engraved gifts, and engraving services. However, shortly after Hurricane Matthew, the store was relocated to the Cherry Point area at 3229 Argent Boulevard in Ridgeland. At their new location, they are now able to offer an even more extensive selection of exciting and customizable products and services.
Exclusively Yours not only offers your typical recognition plaques and awards, they also offer something genuinely unique with their custom gift items and services. Not only can you purchase a personalized gift from them, you can also have them create an amazing custom product with nothing more than your idea. LeeAnn says, “One of the biggest thrills I get out of what I do is transforming an idea from customer’s mind into a physical product they can hold and love.”
Now a veteran owned and operated local business, Exclusively Yours is proud to offer a variety of officially licensed United States Marine Corps products as well as a wide variety of fully customizable gifts that suit any occasion. Their quality engraving can be seen on samples at their store on materials such as glass, wood, leather, acrylic, slate, stainless steel, marble, coated brass plates, and much more. In addition to engraving, they now have a new process that allows them to transfer color photos onto materials as well. Color photos can be transferred to materials such as glass, slate, ceramic, aluminum, wood, and more. All customers have to do is submit their photos by email and Exclusively Yours handles the rest. Whether you need one gift for that special someone or you need to order several hundred for a big event, Exclusively Yours can accommodate your order and provide a quality product.
The owners of Exclusively Yours are not only inspirational, but are a great reminder that it is truly amazing what you can accomplish when ambition and drive for success outweigh any limitations that arise. They offer exclusive quality products at exceptional prices and provide a relaxed and friendly environment where you can let them turn your ideas into reality. No matter what your current situation is, always remember that nothing is out of reach. What can YOU do with fifty dollars and some paintbrushes?
